Ty Stone & The Truth in one word - Power. From Ty’s opening vocal note on “Blessed St. Anthony”, to the last band note in “Line of Blood,” power exuded.

Ty Stone brings "The Truth" with “American Style”
By: Chad Munroe

FAYETTEVILLE, AR- On a rainy Thursday night an unsettled crowd of several hundred shuffled into Georges Majestic Lounge for a Dickson Street party that they expected to be like any other. Most in attendance were eager to see Uncle Kracker take the stage as they made their way to the back of the bar to find their favorite spot before the show.  This night would be different, however.

Fan Review From March 30 Show

on April 15, 2011

A pleasure...that's how I would describe the voice of Ty Stone. On march 30, Ty and his band The Truth expressed their Motown soul for us down south at Ricks Cafe in Starkville, Mississippi. Opening solo acoustic style, Ty immediately impressed the crowd with his raw, gritty vocal, only to farther draw us in when joined by his band. His original music had everyone in the cafe rocking, giving us that delightful taste of Detroit, making us all feel like we were a family "American Style."

Ty Stone and the Truth Shall Set You Free

Café Firenze – Birmingham, Alabama

March 31, 2011

Ty Stone’s blue-collar has indeed earned a fair dollar. However, at Café Firenze in Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday, March 31, 2011, his blue-collar attained him something much more substantial: respect.

The one-hour set was diverse and intriguing. Stone’s vocals adroitly belted traces of the blues, rock-n-roll, country, with a twist of Motown soul.
